`Marte Dam Tak` is a 1987 Bollywood action film, directed by Mehul Kumar, starring Raaj Kumar, Govinda and Farha Naaz. The story includes a courteous Police Inspector, Rane, intent on arresting the notorious gangster P.C. Mathur, but finds himself on trial for murder and sentenced to seven years behind bars, by being wrongly framed for the murder by Mathur. Following his prison term, Rane becomes an underworld operator known as Rana, wanting to seek revenge on Mathur and killing him. He hires Jai to kill Mathur but Jai mistakenly kills somebody else in the process. Jai feels guilty and decides to gives up the life of crime and focus on his family, leaving Rana alone to hunt down Mathur. It is now up to Rana to fulfill his quest, but he first needs to avoid being killed by Mathur's gang!
