SYNOPSIS - Agneepath

Agneepath is a 2012 Hindi language action thriller film produced by Karan Johar. It is a remake of a 1990 film of the same name and is directed by Karan Johar's former assistant Karan Malhotra.
Hrithik Roshan plays the lead role of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan, originally played by Amitabh Bachchan. Sanjay Dutt plays the main antagonist. Other members of the cast include Priyanka Chopra, Rishi Kapoor and Zarina Wahab.
The character played by Mithun Chakraborty in the original has been totally done away with. Katrina Kaif appears in an item number “Chikni Chameli”. Shooting took place in Mumbai's film city and Diu. Agneepath released on 26 January 2012 to highly positive reviews from critics. |

When vijay lifts that massive rock and breaks kancha's back and starts reciting agneepath poem....that climax and that moment redefined hrithik...he's far better than any actor who ever surfaced. The movie is also superb as a whole and DO NOT COMPARE with the old one. It is nothing similar...

The old Agneepath completely belonged to Amitabh Bachchan and the new one has HR written all over it...Hrithik is at his Bloody Best..The movie doesn't belong to Sanjay or Priyanka or anybody..It completely rests on Hrithik Roshan's muscular Shoulders which he has carried with ease...This is clearly (one of) Hrithik's best performances ever where 'one of' is optional and can be removed depending on the audience :)...I shd not take the credit away from Rishi Kapoor as he was outstanding too...:)..
