Barfi is nothing but a sweet entertainer in every sense. It has the perfect ingredients like Anurag Basu as the apt director, Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'cruz as the perfect cast. There is no way you can get bored of the movie. Ranbir is in his best form. You get glimpses of Mr Bean and Charlie Chaplin in Barfi. Raj Kapoor would have been proud to see a nearly replica of himself in his grandson.

I was actually a fan of Ranbir Kapoor after I saw Rockstar. But after Barfi, I am floored and I am completely in love with him. The flawless acting and his simplicity will make you attached to and feel for Barfi. Priyanka Chopra as the autistic Jhilmil is brilliant and she has complemented well with Barfi. Ileana gave her perfect Bollywood debut with her efficient portrayal of Shruthi. Finally she got to do a meaty role other than being sidelined as glamour quotient. Anurag Basu has proved himself again as a director with a Midas touch. Brilliant portrayal of characters supported by a well written script. Barfi is worth a watch.

If anyone asks me what to plan for this weekend, without any second thought, I would recommend everyone to watch Barfi. It is simple, sweet and delicious in every sense. There is nothing over board in the movie. Ranbir Kapoor is undoubtedly the show stealer in the movie who is well supported and complimented by the brilliant performance of Priyanka and the well portrayed debutante Ileana. Anurag Basu can definitely be called as an artiste. He made us fall in love with a person who cannot talk and who is much talked about. Barfi is a 'not to be missed' movie in every sense.
