'Jannat 2' is a movie starring Emraan Hashmi, Randeep Hooda, Imran Zahid and Esha Gupta in the lead roles. The movie is a 2012 release which is directed by Kunal Deshmukh and produced by Mukesh Bhatt.

Sonu Dilli (Emraan Hashmi) is an arms dealer in Delhi who has the gift of a gab. ACP Pratap Raghuvanshi (Randeep Hooda) is a tough cop who is dealing with the issue of illegal arms. When Sonu is interogated by ACP Pratap, he turns informer for latter. Although helping ACP puts Sonu in jail, he still continues giving information about the illegal arms racket as he has no other choice. But later he falls in love with a doctor, Jhanvi Tomar (Esha Gupta) and decides that he wants to leave the life of crime and settle down. ACP Pratap, who is adamant in finding out who the leader of the arms racket is, convinces Sonu to continue his job as he promises him protection and a good life afterwards. Sonu, unknown to his wife joins a bigger arms gang. What continues later forms the crust of the entire movie.
