Rowdy Rathore is just another South movie remade. Since I am from South, movies like this have been made and remade. But keeping aside all that Akshay has done an entertaining job. But Sonakshi does not have much to provide in the movie apart from the songs with Akshay.
Prabhu Deva has done it again.

This is the second movie of Prabhu Deva in Bollywood after Wanted. And may be because of that we can see glimpses of that in Rowdy Rathore. Also along with Wanted, I could see some Singham and also Dabangg. The movie is a mixed bag.

Akshay Kumar in double role was a surprise package. It was really a treat to watch him performing the tough guy as well as the timid guy. Though some of the jokes do not make much sense, people actually laugh at them. I could just hear hooting for Akshay. Rowdy Rathore actually turned into a 'crowdy' Rathore.
