Silsila is a bollywood drama film directed by Yash Chopra.
The film revolves around the lives of two brothers - Amit (Amitabh Bacchan) and Shekhar (Shashi Kapoor). Both, Amit and Shekhar are to marry the love of their lives, however fate has other plans. Shekhar dies in a plane crash and leaves behind her girlfriend Shobha pregnant. Amit decides he cannot leave Shobha in this plight and marries her. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
The film was released in 1981 and instantly became a huge hit. Shiv-Hari gave the background score and editing was done by Keshav Naidu. |
