Akshay Kumar is on a role for the past few months starting from 2012. Not only on the professional front, but also in paying his taxes.

It is heard that the actor has outnumbered Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan by paying advance tax of Rs. 18 crores.

For a few years now, Akshay has been pretty much ahead with back-to-back hit films like 'Housefull 2', 'Rowdy Rathore', 'OMG - Oh My God' and 'Special 26'.

Earning a lump sum with all these movies, the actor has achieved another feat by becoming the highest advance income tax payer for the sixth consecutive year. In the year 2012, Akshay paid Rs. 20 crores as advance tax.

Apparently, Akshay is followed by Salman in the second spot and SRK being the third.
