Akshay wants to be a baddie
After doing romantic comedies for a couple of years, Bollywood's 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar is now raring to experiment in full throttle.
The actor as a part of his experiment is making a comeback to his forte of action with 'Rowdy Rathore'. And now, Akshay, who has done a couple of negative roles in his career, yet again wants to don a grey character in the near future.
Akshay recently expressed his desire to do a villainous role when he exclaimed that he would love to do roles which are on lines of his character in 'Ajnabee'. "I like doing negative roles, something like the one I did in 'Ajnabee' where the villain is not just to beat up. There should be some material as well. If I get something like that, then I'll definitely do it," said Akshay.
Akshay claims that actors are supposed to present what audiences like, "We are like products. We present what the audience likes. People love when Shah Rukh Khan does a romantic film, people want me to do action so I am doing action, they want me to do comedy so I do comedy," said Akshay on why actors have to change genres according to the need of the times.
Looks like Akshay has mastered the art of holding the nerve of audiences quite well. Hope his assumptions prove fruitful for his future films too.
