Bollywood parties are the perfect platform where you can actually testify who are the dear ones and who are not by just looking at the guest list. 

While the included members obviously can be considered as the close ones, the left out can be easily pinned as the not-so-favored buddies, and that exactly is the situation that defines Karan Johar's birthday party preparatory status. 

The highly famous filmmaker who is gearing up to enter the 40th year of his life with great panache has apparently invited the who's who of the industry that sums up for a humongous 300-invitees. But alas the party that will be held on 25th May will not be attended by his arch rival Ram Gopal Varma and friend turned foe Priyanka Chopra. 

While KJo's war of words with RGV is the obvious reason for his exclusion from the coveted guest list, keeping out his 'Dostana' star Priyanka too isn't surprising. 

After Karan slammed Priyanka and her gang for indulging in unfair means to target his close buddies (read PC's once 'Good Friend' SRK's wife Gauri Khan), the relationship between the two has never been the same as before. And with her exclusion from the list, the hopes of the equation being rekindled too has been washed out.
