Asin Wowed By Her Schoolmates On Her Birthday
It was Asin's birthday on Oct 26th, and a special one at that. Reason being that her friends from all over the globe have paid her a special visit. What is further special is the fact that these are the very folks with whom she had studied in school years back and it had been ages since they all had come together under one roof.
"I couldn't believe it when I saw them all trickling in one after another over the weekend", Asin can't control her excitement here as she is presented a list of all the activities that her friends have planned for her today, "They live in different parts of the world - USA, Europe, Australia. I did talk to them on and off in last few weeks but never had the faintest of idea that they were actually planning to come over to Mumbai."
Her own visit to Mumbai was long overdue. Busy with the shooting of her Hindi film 'Ready' with Salman Khan and Tamil flick 'Kaavalan' with Vijay, Asin was out of the city for number of days and could just make it in time to be back in Mumbai with her family.
"Thank goodness I managed to get a break", Asin heaves a sigh of relief, "It was only last Sunday when I actually got a little break. I have been out of Mumbai shooting continuously and it was after more than a month that I finally came back. I guess the wait has been worth it though since so much has been seemingly planned for my birthday. I can't wait to open all the boxes of goodies that are lying around."
Undoubtedly, she is mighty excited about how the day unfolds.
"It's so sweet of my friends to have come all the way to India just to be with me today", she brings on a smile here, "They have made me feel special. It has been such a long time since we all met. With them and my parents, it is going to be a lovely day for sure. All my friends know my parents very well. They have grown up right in front of my parents. I am sure we all will have a lot of fun together. My friends have done their job right to surprise me with their visit. It is over to my parents to do their bit now!"
