UTV SpotBoy is UTV Motion Pictures second brand in motion pictures. UTV Motion Pictures Plc is a wholly owned subsidiary of UTV Software Communications Ltd. (UTV), Mumbai based media and entertainment production company. It was started in 1996, and handles the motion picture production anddistribution of UTV.

UTV Motion Pictures produces films both in Bollywood as well as in Hollywood, where it partners with other leading film studios like 20th Century Fox, The Walt Disney Company and Sony Pictures.

UTV Motion Pictures is listed on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market since 2007, where it was valued at $321m at the start of trading, in the same year, it launched its second motion picture brand 'SpotBoy'; In 2008, it made to US top 20 distributors, when its releases grossed $5.48 million in the first 28 weeks of the year, making it the leading Indian motion picture distributor in the US, it was also one of the youngest Indian film distributors in North America, as it established operations in the US only four years ago.

Films including Aamir (2008), Welcome to Sajjanpur (2008), Dev D (2009), Dhoondte Reh Jaoge (2009), Kisaan (2009), Aagey Se Right (2009), Peter Gaya Kaam Se (2010), No One Killed Jessica (2011) & Chillar Party (2011) have been made under the banner.
